David Stone

David Stone resides in Short Hills and along with his wife Nancy of 40+ years, has three adult children and currently three grandchildren. David and his wife run the luxury independent jewelry shop, Nancy And David Fine Jewels in downtown Millburn featuring many of their own jewelry designs and creations. They were pioneers of designer jewelry in the 1980’s and have sold their jewelry to other retail jewelers and upscale department stores and exhibited at premier jewelry trade shows worldwide. David infuses his love of music into beautiful melodic symphonies of colored stones, diamonds, and custom created jewelry.

David also represents Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Richie Furay as his Business Manager.  Furay is a founding member of the legendary and influential groups Buffalo Springfield and country-rock band Poco. David is executive producer on the documentary film in production, THROUGH IT ALL – THE LIFE AND INFLUENCE OF RICHIE FURAY.  Hollywood director & screenwriter Cameron Crowe is working with David’s production team on the film. Furay has performed sold out concerts several times at SOPAC, with the shows produced by Stone. He also produced the 2021 CD & DVD release of “Richie Furay – 50th Anniversary Return To The Troubadour,” a live concert event that took place in 2018.

David has participated on the SOPAC board for several years, with a brief hiatus between his current and prior board participation.
