Ally McHugh

Ally McHugh began working at SOPAC as a Development Associate throughout the majority of 2021 until leaving to pursue her career as a horse trainer and riding instructor. She returned to her old position part-time in October 2022 during her extra time not spent traveling to horse shows throughout the winter. You can also find her at SOPAC In the Loft shows as an Event Manager!

Ally earned her B.A. in English with minors in Political Science and Art History from The College of New Jersey, where she was president of the English Honor Society and a 4-year member of the College Choir and Chorale. Now a professional, she has been a competitive equestrian for 15 years and has two reserve world titles. Ally is building a fulfilling career in which she has pursued both of her biggest passions: horses and the arts! She is so grateful to the SOPAC family for welcoming her back to be part of such a special and essential organization to the community.
