Ivan Neville & Jon Cleary Duo Mardi Gras Special

Longtime friends Jon Cleary and Ivan Neville are two of the funkiest keyboard players, singers and band leaders in New Orleans and they’ve come together to celebrate Mardi Gras with you from the comfort of your own home! Expect an evening full of celebration, conversation and a musical gumbo featuring some of the artists’ favorite songs.

British Blues pianist and composer Jon Cleary has worked with Rock, Blues, and Soul artists like Bonnie Raitt, D’Angelo, Maria Muldaur, Taj Mahal, and Eric Clapton. Originally a guitarist, Cleary began playing at age five, and started his first band at 15. Raised on Blues, Jazz, and Soul records, his love of New Orleans music in particular took him across the ocean to put down roots.

Keyboardist, singer, and songwriter Ivan Neville is the son of Aaron Neville. Though he has performed often with the Neville Brothers, he established himself as a go-to studio and touring musician. He was a member of Bonnie Raitt’s band between 1985-1987, and guested on other dates by a plethora of artists including the Rolling Stones, Don Henley, Paula Abdul, Robbie Robertson, Rufus, Delbert McClinton, and, of course, the Nevilles.
