Whether it’s a popular children’s story, a Shakespeare classic, or a fun math or science program, the School Performance series compliments classroom lesson plans by engaging students in entertaining, educational, performing arts experiences.
Making the most of the show’s teachable moments, SOPAC offers Q&A sessions with artists and provides study guides to reinforce the NJ Core Curriculum; content that reaches beyond performing arts and into subjects like math, science, social studies and language arts, and brings them to life.

As always, Bear Country is not without its complications: Brother Bear's grades are slipping, Sister Bear still has a few things to learn about making new friends, and Papa Bear just can't stop eating junk food. E. A. Hoffmann's fairy tale, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, first premiered in 1892 with music by Peter Tchaikovsky and choreographer Marius Petipa. New York Theatre Ballet's production, choreographed by Keith Michael, is the only hour-long Nutcracker, presented by a professional troupe, in the metro area. It is perfectly suited to the attention span of younger audience members, yet sophisticated enough for the most discerning adult.

Rose is lost in Rhyme Town. Fortunately, Humpty knows how to get her home, but to do this, he needs the help of all your favorite nursery rhyme characters. The audience must help Humpty and Rose collect magic to get home by meeting all the good folk of Rhyme Town including, Old King Cole, Little Bo Peep, The Grand Old Duke of York and Little Miss Muffet while singing their songs. Fantastic audience participation, colorful costumes, educational values, and a full cast of professional actors, this show travels at a thousand smiles an hour!

Pricing
Tickets are $12 per person for groups with fewer than 50 people. Get one ticket free for every 15 purchased.
Group Pricing applies when purchasing tickets for one or more shows:
50–100 tickets: $11 per person
100–149 tickets: $10 per person
150–249 tickets: $9 per person
Over 250 tickets: $8 per person
Payment
A 50% deposit is due within ten business days of placing your order. Final payment is due 15 business days prior to the performance. If reservations are made less than one month before the event, full payment is due 15 business days prior to the performance. Payment in full is required before the performance date. SOPAC Education accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card, as well as checks (made payable to SOPAC). Please note that any reservations which remain unpaid past stated due dates may be released for sale.
