Jodie
Wasserman is a native New Yorker who upset her parents very much by deciding to
study acting after graduating from college. At the recommendation of an acting
coach, she tried stand-up and hasn’t stopped since. She was the co-creator and
co-host of Spin Cycle Comedy, a groundbreaking stand-up show that took place in
a NYC Laundromat. The show was profiled by the New York Times, Newsweek and
Japanese television.
Jodie’s appeared on Comedy
Central’s Premium Blend, BET’s Comic View and the Dutch TV show “The Comedy Factory.”
She’s a regular at the top clubs in New York City and across the country where
her honest, feisty persona and hard-hitting material are a big hit.
