Pianist Richard Goode returns to the series for his third performance, this time in a delightful recital of solo piano pieces and art song with Sarah Shafer, a gifted young soprano. Praised for her "luminous voice" and "intensely expressive interpretations" (The New York Times) the twenty-three year old vocalist is quickly emerging as a sought-after operatic and concert artist.
