SOPAC presents the Grammy-award winning The Manhattan Transfer, a four-part jazz vocal ensemble, whose work fused together elements of jazz, classic R&B, pop, rock and swing. The group performs classic holiday favorites lending a unique sound and groove to the season.  Founded in the 1970s, the group found success through its second line-up of Tim Hauser, Janis Siegel, Alan Paul and Cheryl Bentyne wining a Grammy in both pop and jazz categories, both for works from their fifth albumn Mecca for Moderns.

Over the years, Manhattan Transfer has continued to grow in popularity and has received acknowledgment for their musical contributions to jazz.  They have performed with such luminaries as Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King, Phil Collins, James Taylor and Frankie Valli.  Take the night off and join SOPAC for this wonderful holiday treat, sure to have you dancing in your seat all night.
