SOPAC is Proud to Support the 2012 South Orange/Maplewood Artists Studio Tour

2012 South Orange/Maplewood Artists Studio Tour
Sunday, June 3 from 11AM-5PM

The townships of South Orange and Maplewood are home to a vibrant community of artists who live, work and play all within a short distance of New York City, the capital of the art world. These talented residents make New Jersey one of the top states in the nation to employ artists of every occupation, and it shows in the quality of life and the cultural choices sophisticated residents and visitors to the two towns enjoy.

The ninth annual South Orange Maplewood Artists Studio Tour is a tribute to the diversity of art and culture that flourishes in our two towns. This year's Tour is Free, and will take place on Sunday, June 3rd, from 11AM to 5PM. It will include more than 70 artist’s studios, galleries and group exhibitions. The Tour is self-guided so you can set your own pace and select the artists who interest you most.

Artists will be in attendance in their studios or local exhibition spaces, and will be happy to discuss their work. If you wish to develop or expand your own art collection, selected works will be available for purchase.
