Arts for All Festival 2012
Arts for All is an additional component to Celebrate South Orange. This free festival includes live music and a craft fair. Arts for All “kicks-off” on Friday, June 8th with a free performance for the community by the Lydia Johnson Dance.
The goals of Arts for All are to: provide a welcoming environment reinforcing SOPAC’s role as the community’s Performing Arts Center; encourage future attendance; and continue and enhance the collaborative relationship between the Village of South Orange, Main Street South Orange, and SOPAC.
This program has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

Lydia Johnson Dance, the Dance Company in Residence at SOPAC, will perform a special preview performance of new and recent dances. This free performance is presented in partnership with Celebrate South Orange and SOPAC.

Entering its sixth year, Celebrate South Orange is the signature family-friendly downtown community event. This year Celebrate South Orange will feature both returning favorites and new additions to the lineup of activities. Carnival games, inflatable rides, face painting, and prizes are available for the entire family at the Kids Zone. Painters, photographers, jewelry makers, and designers will be displaying their work. Local merchants and community organizations will be on hand to inform and entertain attendees. Delicious dishes provided by local restaurants and food vendors. The fourth annual Town Hall Deli Sloppy Joe Eating contest will crown a new winner! Plus, a full schedule of live performances will occur on two stages throughout the day and evening.
ARTS FOR ALL JURIED CRAFT FAIR
Artisans from all over the region will be selling their wares at the Arts for All Juried Craft Fair. Painters, photographers, jewelry makers, designers and many more will enliven Sloan Street all day long.

An uplifting musical celebration featuring songs of love and inspiration - 7PM - THE WISENHEIMERS
Popular New Jersey cover band, The Wisenheimers, perform a variety of up-beat, danceable music, including Motown, Disco, New Wave, Britpop, and today's modern hits.
