2012 Free Concerts in the Park

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season, the highly anticipated 2012 Free Concerts in the Park series returns this summer at Flood’s Hill in Meadowland Park, South Orange. For five consecutive Wednesday nights starting July 11th, some of today’s top performers will present free outdoor concerts ranging from jazz, pop, and reggae to salsa and rock n’ roll. See complete line-up below. Audiences are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket along to relax and listen. And, of course, dancing is always allowed.
Random Test Reggae Band
The Random Test Reggae Band provides authentic reggae style and rhythm that has been captivating the Jersey Shore for over a decade. With band members from all over the Caribbean, Random Test performs a distinct style that embraces the roots and culture of Reggae music. Random Test has performed at countless events, parties, bars and clubs all around New Jersey. The band's increasing notoriety has brought them recognition throughout NJ and neighboring states. The band has released one CD entitled, “Random Test…Roots, Rock, Reggae.” The band is currently working on their second CD. The Random Test’s reggae sound has been coined as being music that is simply the heartbeat of the people. The Random Test Reggae Band’s captivating music and high energy ensure listeners a lively and engaging performance that will prove to be a timeless moment for all in attendance.
