Broadway-star and Tony-award winner Betty Buckley comes to SOPAC for an intimate cabaret performance. A premier vocalist, Buckley solidified her standing on Broadway with her turn as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. She continued to win accolades for her range of performances including Hesione in Triumph of Love, and as Norma Desmond in the London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, which she repeated to more rave reviews on Broadway.
This special evening will showcase the talent and range of Ms. Buckley, alongside accompanist Kenny Werner. Ms. Buckley will perform standards from the American Songbook, as well as the hits that made her famous.
